Some rather mighty leaders are quite bad at controlling their temper.

I once had a boss who was known for occasional unjust fits against his underlings, and that boss was quite rich and privileged.

Apparently, the USA is currently ruled by an emotionally unstable president.

Power removes some of the benefits of being emotionally stable. That's a part of how power corrupts.
