@kallekn I genuinely don’t know what benefits I am missing by being a cultural outsider. I am not denying there could be benefits. I just am not sure if they would be beneficial to me—or even if they would actually be granted to me. The entry fee to find out is quite expensive. I was a cultural outsider growing up gay in the Bible Belt. I was a cultural outsider as an adult in the US having progressive politics, working as an activist, eating as a vegetarian. I’m kinda ok being an outsider.
