I loved using Windows sticky notes. When we upgraded to Windows 11, I couldn’t use it anymore because it demanded I connect a MS account, but my employer forbids making one for this machine, and it has to stay offline and is used to operate lab equipment. Keeping it offline seems sensible because you’re not going to get malware and updates can cause bugs when it just needs to run the hardware. Nevertheless, IT told us that we have to move to Windows 11 now.
As far as I’m concerned, they ruined a perfectly good app. It’s literally not usable in my situation anymore. User is sad now.
