I mean, look at how much hate Ms Rachel, argueably the closest equivalent to Mr Rogers we have today, is getting from a decent chunk of the right. So I feel like we're way past the point where good deeds guarantee a universally good public reception unfortunately and even obviously good people need to be defended.
