Yes it does do shit, relative to how good you get at doing it. The impact is real. Sure groups of people will be needed to get significant changes but every single person thinking their participation doesn't do anything is why everyone stays disengaged. Show up even if others don't, until others do. Getting people to engage is also worth of engaging.
