@cstross There was a flash animation with a tune of "Internet killed the video star" back in the 00's and whilst a bit ahead of its time... it kind of got it right; the Internet was death knell of physical media. Kind of a shame as none of the Streaming specials have quite the same charm as a straight to VHS release did.
