It's a fundamentalist position. I believe you will not be able to hold it "for all", but we will see.
If you read the entire essay by Klowden/Tao you will find many applications of LLMs in research math where you simply cannot say they are not intelligent in some weird new way. They definitely do useful things that require this ominous intelligence that only humans had before gpt was invented.
