@nathanlovestrees This is one boundary that comes up constantly in my work — kids who haven't yet learned that they can't talk with their friends and the rest of their classmates the same way. I've explained so many times that teasing is only fun for everyone if the teasee feels okay telling the teaser that they've crossed a line, and the teaser is then willing to change their behavior as needed; sometimes this sinks in, sometimes they don't care. It's also part of my go-to explanation as to why we prohibit certain words/behaviors at school (as opposed to the "we're preparing you for work" justification a lot of my coworkers are fond of).
