@jccpalmer I’m not sure if this helps at all, but I can think back to two women I’ve dated that both complained I wasn't possessive enough.

I mean, one of them literally wanted me to jump out of the car to fight a guy in the street because he hit on her at a red light. To oversimplify her general interests, she wanted to date a caveman.

The other wasn't so, simple; but she was accustomed to dating controlling men, and she believed those were signs of caring/love. I learned to fake it for her.
