Hi all -- we're doing a survey!
The HPC Carpentry project seeks to bring the benefits of Carpentries-style pedagogical techniques and the continuously self-improving lesson model to the HPC space. For several years now, a small team of volunteers has been developing lesson materials, holding ad-hoc workshops, and nurturing a community around this effort. This has been an informal, low-friction process for a while.
We are now seeking to join the Carpentries organization as a new lesson program, alongside Software Carpentry, Data Carpentry, and Library Carpentry. To that end, we'd like feedback from as many people as possible with regard to their level of interest in hosting HPC Carpentry workshops, developing or maintaining lesson material, or otherwise contributing to the HPC Carpentry community.
This survey is one means by which we hope to gather this feedback. You're receiving it because you've shown some interest in the material. We hope youcan help us out by completing the survey, and helping the team and the Carpentires at large assess the size and nature of the community.

We're hoping for responses by Nov. 24, 2025.
Thanks in advance!
