Researchers of HI ERN and @FAU@mastodon.social developed a new method for identifying side products in LOHC (liquid organic hydrogen carrier) systems.
Many repetitive storage cycles can lead to the formation of undesirable side products that remains on catalysts and impair their function, which makes reusing the systems difficult.
The results of this collaborative effort were recently published in the journal "Fuel".
