I truly believe that if regulating the data centers of these tools out of existence isn't possible, the next best thing would be to treat them like cigarettes, constant labeling that warns users that by using these tools they are harming everything they touch. It is unacceptable in 2026 to hide externalities from people who use products and services that are almost exclusively harmful. The tobacco companies knew what they were doing, the "AI" companies know exactly what they are doing.
