The answer: No. But I could move my domains to one of those new packages and receive the free certificates while still continuing to pay for my legacy package AND manually needed to migrate all my databanks, websites, mail to the new package.
To no-one's surprise I find that response to be rather lacking. If I really would start a process of manually moving everything, why - given this poor service - would I then not move to a different host provider entirely?
TL;DR: I cannot recommend 😑
