I saw Rao's get recommended as the second best sauce outta all the store brand sauces in the US rated by some of Italy's top chefs. It isn't that good. Newman's Own is *way* better and, around here anyway, half the price of Rao's. But you can also very easily and for a lot less than a jar, make your own pasta sauce and make it as good as you want.
