@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social I’d watch a movie/series based on this premise. One of my favorite things about Indiana Jones is the whole “what does my history professor do in his free time?” aspect. I love the idea of a group of cozy soup ladies who, say, take down a human-trafficking ring (Daredevil style) while everything is simmering for maximum flavor.
Make it like the A-Team where they are approached by clients at the farmers market where they sell their wares!

Honestly we kinda are doing this in the protest movement in the US. While my group might not be doing anything illegal or violent, we sure AF piss off the MAGA nutjobs (what few remain) and the ICE agents! Then we go out for ice cream.

That said, an armed fight against the ruling Epstein class (ultra capitalists, zionists, nazis, putinists, …) with the goal of reducing their harmful power rather than to punish them would be no more in contradiction to rehabilitative justice than any historical anti-fascist resistance!
