You must have a LOT of willpower to give them up, otherwise you couldn't. I did have a great-uncle who quit by putting his Pall Malls on the fireplace mantel & said, "I'm bigger than that pack of cigarettes." I tried that, but I could feel the pack of Camels enticing me every time I walked through the living room. I'm just weak.

Then I was like oh, oh, OH. And that was that, 14 years later still addicted to nicotine lol
