Aaand here we are: https://notes.zachmanson.com/copilot-edited-an-ad-into-my-pr/ Next step: when asking to implement a feature, generate code that uses the backend provider based on ad spend.

Naturally the DanDan secret lair sold out. And of course eBay is now full of sealed unopened decks at 2.5x price. Fuck the scalpers.

Conditional auto play with year of production before 2023? Any third party Apple/YouTube music clients supporting this?

Any tips to regain motivation? Around me I see everybody everything building from scratch (compilers, engines, llms, some have made their whole user space including WM, shell and editors…) Me I just want to make a game but I can’t even get myself to decide on the platform. Everything got so much easier to do, and yet most of the time seems to be spent building middleware.

I like journaling on the whim but I find that all apps have problems that block the flow. I want to have everything stored in plain files on a disk I control. So I made Diar - a set of iOS shortcuts to create annotated markdown files, which I can easily edit in iA Writer. And Rhea, a small webserver that parses the files, downloads maps and generates thumbnails. Today, with the combination of Diar & Rhea, the flow of ideas is finally smooth and uninterrupted. https://yozy.net/2026/03...

Every time I go on a website that has a plain username/password and OTP authentication I feel relieved that there are still parts of internet that work as intended. Easy, fast, secure and without bullshit.

“Remember me” does not mean “prefill my login and password” every time you open this app. It means “stay fucking logged in”.

The new Apple Watch UI for selecting workouts is absolutely terrible. Hiding and showing elements (slowly) when I stop scrolling is such a pain. Now instead of scrolling quickly to a button and pressing it, i need to drag my finger one option at a time, then wait for the play button to appear. All of this in name of what? I mostly stopped wearing the damn thing.

Changed battery my old Magic Trackpad. It turns out that when the battery bloats it does the job of ungluing the back panel perfectly and the operation can be done without any tools.
