  New quandary, this one is a bit more serious. I’ve been a member of Amnesty International Aotearoa for more than ten years.   Had an extremely vivid dream last night. I was on a group call, trying to figure out how to join some tricky tables. Then I had leave the call because there was a tiger in the yard. The tiger was stalking Oggi, and we were very concerned because Oggi is blind and vulnerable. But it was a friendly tiger who wanted to look after Oggi, and took a shine to some of my knitted hats.

  Argharghargh! The vinegar was finished, took the stopper out but the rubber bit got stuck. Both of us trying to get it out with a chopstick and tweezers, and the bottle was making weird gurgling noises. Then my life turned into an episode of the X Files and I had to ask Ecosia wtf this was while husband biffed it over the fence.

  Quandary time. I’ve had this piece of silk since 2008, waiting for the right pattern/weight loss/whatever.   Dentist appointment was yesterday. Dentist: Do you grind your teeth at night? Me: I don’t know, do I? I have some hairline cracks that suggest yes, so he recommended getting a Nightguard from the pharmacy to see if I can tolerate wearing one. The mangled mess of plastic that I woke up to this morning suggests that I do indeed grind my teeth at night.

  Had a super busy day today. Started with online kickboxing, made yoghurt,went into town and had a badly needed neck and shoulder massage at the mall, installed the add-on security camera I bought in November (!); made some dhokla, roasted and ground some cumin seeds, made rice pudding; dal makhini currently in the pressure cooker. ::naps::

  Have had a very pleasant Mātariki today. Opened the curtain at 6.30, but it was cloudy so went back to bed and we both slept until 9am! (we’ve had some things happening this week that are sleep disrupting, we obviously needed it). Spent all day cutting out, I’m ready to make x2 Tshirts and x3 dresses. Just made a tuna mushroom lasagne, used to make this heaps when I was a student, haven’t made it in years.
