  It's funny to me that when an AI does something, no one is able to be held responsible. But if you have a self-driving car with a human occupant, that occupant is a "driver" and is legally liable for the actions of the vehicle. So which is it? Is the owner of the AI liable for the destruction wrought by their creations or can I get shitfaced in the back of a self-driving Corolla?

  Well that's embarrassing. I rashed the FUCK out of my front passenger wheel leaving the parking garage the other night. I was in a -mood- and just not paying attention. Not sure what I'll do about it, if anything.

  I did a little digging, and the Leaf and i3 both EVs with interiors that are -not- dominated by big dumb screens. Are there any others? Teslas infamously have their big dumb screens, Rivians have the big dumb screen, the Toyota bz I had for a weekend was dominated by a big dumb screen...
