It's funny to me that when an AI does something, no one is able to be held responsible. But if you have a self-driving car with a human occupant, that occupant is a "driver" and is legally liable for the actions of the vehicle. So which is it? Is the owner of the AI liable for the destruction wrought by their creations or can I get shitfaced in the back of a self-driving Corolla?
