Sitting in the backyard facing north while a storm rolls in from that direction. I can feel the temperature dropping by the minute and the breeze feels so nice. Penny is with me. She doesn&#39;t like the thunder, but she&#39;s being brave because I&#39;ve given her free reign to run, play, and sniff as much as she wants.

My boss always means well, but sometimes she needs to be reminded that being inclusive also means allowing someone not to be included if that is their choice. Details: My peers and I are being given a boon from my boss&#39;s boss&#39;s boss because of a couple mid-level miracles we&#39;ve pulled off recently, but one of my peers desperately does not want to go.

I overheard two people who are testing the next generation of one of our main systems. A: I don&#39;t really know if it&#39;s supposed to do this or not. B: Yeah. Most of the time now I think I&#39;m just gaslighting myself. I can&#39;t wait for this release.
