My boss always means well, but sometimes she needs to be reminded that being inclusive also means allowing someone not to be included if that is their choice. Details: My peers and I are being given a boon from my boss's boss's boss because of a couple mid-level miracles we've pulled off recently, but one of my peers desperately does not want to go.
