Vegans on here, are there any vegan cookbooks you would recommend? I'm asking because I usually cook either rice with vegetables or spaghetti with vegetables, with the same few kinds of vegetables and spices every time, and I'd like to have more variety. #Vegan #AskFedi #VeganCookbook

There is so much ableism in my feed. The casual nature of most of it is what really stings. It goes to show that ableism is integral to the fediverse, part of its fundamental structure. Words like stupid and silly as well as dumb and smart are one of the symptoms that show that society doesn't care about disabled people. Ableist language is one part of the universe of ableism. Please, please look into ableism as a whole and what it does. #AntiAbleism #FightAbleism

1/2 Cheryl Porter is a Black woman singer and vocal coach. Her youtube vocal workouts (I do the one for all levels and the advanced one almost daily) are brilliant on a technical level, and very fun to sing. So this is a Cheryl Porter appreciation toot. I especially love how she teaches that you can support yourself while singing with appropriate movement and the right posture. #BlackSingers #BlackVocalCoach #Gratitude

I own a certified android phone (as of today, not connected to a google account anymore). If I understand it correctly, all apps I use (currently sourced from fdroid) will stop functioning this year or next year. I would like to know if there's any way to avoid this. Will I need to buy a new phone, and, if so, are there any manufacturers that guarantee that non-playstore apps will continue to function? #AskFedi #Android #TechnicalAdvice
