TUQTULI
tuqtuli@typo.social

Tuqtuli is a communication principle where signs are lined up like words. It is useful wherever people lack a shared language and corresponding help. Tuqtuli aims to involve as many as different people as possible as co-creators and testers of a new visual way of global communication. Like you! The project started in 2024 and since then has been at conferences, festivals and universities in Belgium, Germany, Japan and the USA. You are welcome to co-create and cooperate!

The resulting works will be exhibited in various locations as part of the milulayu project.

Building on the idea of the later workshop on the »Frankfurt Jacket«, the »Frankfurt Message« workshop on 6 May will focus on a message in tuqtuli, which will be incorporated into the democratic garment. Your democratic attitude can find expression here as a greeting, a personal statement or a reminder to yourself – whether individual or universal, eye-catching or discreet. https://wdc2026.org/en/events/tuqtuli-oder-dialogwerkstatt

You can watch the whole conversation here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZzvrH54ldk During our conversation Kathrin had the good idea that tuqtuli might be also suitable to keep seniors in rest homes mentally and motorically fit!
