If this was a pitch for a movie script, how far into the pitch would it get. The main characters are two corrupt felons who are trying to delay accountability for their actions by becoming heads of state. Hmmnn interesting, go on. So they start a war with Iran and the Pope. Iran and the Pope, Like THE POPE, Yeah the Pope, did I stutter. Well here's the twist. Oh really a twist, you say? Yeah, they lose the war

Pat Metheny Report. Just saw him in columbus, wow that stuff was good. I can honestly say i did not know what to expect. I knew guitar players respected him, really respected him, but that can mean a lot of things. So yeah I was surprised and pleased. I feared an experimental adventure of challenging music, but really it was all easy to listen to, but still out there. So yeah !!

I just made a contribution to this pro labor union thingy. https://prospect.org/2026/04/20/union-now-americas-new-strike-fund/ I hope this doesn't end in a spam avalanche as some of my previous donations have. Similar thing when the Nature Conservancy fundraises in person. They won't accept cash, and if I use a card they have my data, and if they have my data they abuse my inbox. So to progressive and environmental non profits out there, some of us want to help, but we wan...

#MyMusicCalendar I see Tony Trischka in a high school auditorium. Now.. it isn't all that tragic for Tony, it is a fancy town with probably a pretty Fancy space for both school and other events. Still, Tony deserves a big crowd and mountains of cash. On a Tony note, in or around 1993 (guessing) he toured with this jazz/alt group that was killer. The drummer was a monster, I have searched but have yet to find recordings or footage.

#FlowerReport This Brunnera may not take a great photo, but it provides a deer proof cloud of light blue, so I will take it.

I am at total war with my city over failure to enforce the noise ordinance. What changed this year? Are super powerful bluetooth speakers cheaply available that are easily paired? It is brutal, I sound like a crazy old man getting fired up, but good gawd man. I wish I hadn't protected my hearing so well over the years. If all I get to hear is 20 year old's music from 3 blocks away.

Mixed topics Toot. I see Tony Trischka playing trad bluegrass tonight. That should be nice, he did sell out so $$$ for Tony, as Run DMC said so eloquently "Gold Chain, Gold Chain, Gold Chain, Mercedes Benz" Clematis are in full glory, Peonies are just about to burst. Hard to be unhappy in early spring, but if you are unhappy.. Hang in there. ❤️

I heard some Rolling Stones on the radio today, with Mr Nicky Hopkins, However much credit Nicky gets, he doesn't get enough, that man had a way of playing the old piano that has not been duplicated.* Note that I wildly over-estimate my knowledge of Rock and Roll Piano here, but so what. It's not a capital crime to pretend you are an expert.

Reading about a supreme court case being heard currently about cell phone data. How will we ever put our pocket sized privacy invasion devices back under reasonable control? I used to deliver data analysis classes to a big cell phone carrier. They were a little cagey about what data they had, and what products they sold using that data, but as an instructor you sort of figure things out through osmosis, and it was terrifying.

It took forever but Girl Trouble and I have found a way to share the couch. She needs to see the laptop screen, be close, be in charge, have something to rub, and a way to show me her ass. What wasn't working for me. * My Lap * My shoulder * My face Bare Pillow was not good. Folded towel was close. The solution is a towel ensconced pillow extremely close. She can show off her backside to me, while making the boys jealous. We call it the princess pillow. We can now waste hours toge...
