What do y'all think about seafile as nextcloud replacement? With my no IP address issue, that's the only app I'm missing. I don't use all the fancy features of nextcloud like talk. I mostly use it to sync files between my laptops. I see that seafile has an android app which is helpful. I could use syncthing as well. Hmm...

way easier way to install #NixOS on Oracle Cloud VMs. https://mtlynch.io/notes/nix-oracle-cloud/ i only modified the disko config to have /boot partition to be 1024MB instead of just 512MB. now to make it cozy.

how do you guys deal with smart tvs? i don't like them. i don't want to use their built in apps or let them connect to the internet... but....i need to have netflix, jellyfin, and hbo max working. what do you guys do? connect a mini SBC to the back of your TV? i'm moving to another apartment and need to buy a new tv soon, this is why i'm thinking about this.
