Following the results of the Bulgarian election, I&#39;m seeing a dramatic influx of AI profiles posting and commenting in support of the pro-Russian ex-president Rumen Radev. Good thing I&#39;ve used enough AI to know when I&#39;m talking to one. Wondering how many people won&#39;t though. Kind of explains how the election was won. #bulgaria #избори2026

Pre-production is where video projects are won or lost. Usually, animation skill gets blamed after a delayed scene, a change, a redo. So I&#39;d spend most of my time improving my skill. Later, I realized it&#39;s not about skill at all - people were outsourcing imagination AND vision. The real indicators of an issue show up early on: fuzzy message, crowded script, a committee of opinions. Designing in proprietary software (Adobe I&#39;m looking at you) means you don&#39;t really own your work files. Sub cancelled = work files lost. Open formats and open software keeps your creations truly yours. Authorship through access. #design #mograph #adobe #canva #aftereffects #blender3d

Toothpaste for Blender (Paste SVGs) extension can now retain layers and groups as Grease Pencil groups to keep everything nice and tidy. Fixed some minor issues with with more complex SVGs when pasting from Figma and Illustrator and should now work fine. Inkscape support will come up in the next release!
