Another excellent paper from @sabinaleonelli, pushing back against the universalist prescriptions of most open-science policy—based on the repertoires of specific, established forms of science—by highlighting the significance of epistemic diversity. Open science advocacy & policy that doesn't recognize the plurality of the world is seeks to shape is harmful. Now that I've moved to Saint Martin, I'm finding that much local news coverage and P2P commerce happens on Facebook. While I've kept my old FB account, I haven't used in it years. Can anyone point me to resources on how to use FB while withholding as much of my data as possible?

There are 100s, maybe 1000s, of diamond open access journals in the United States, but many remain invisible in the broader scholarly publishing landscape. A new national effort is underway to comprehensively map this ecosystem in the US for the first time. Participation from editors and publishing programs across disciplines is essential. If you are involved with a journal that does not charge authors publication fees, please consider completing this short survey: www.tinyurl.com/mappingdoa
