There are 100s, maybe 1000s, of diamond open access journals in the United States, but many remain invisible in the broader scholarly publishing landscape. A new national effort is underway to comprehensively map this ecosystem in the US for the first time. Participation from editors and publishing programs across disciplines is essential.
