  Big timelines for #ExoMars Rosalind Franklin programme. Slippage due to NASA pulling out for funding reasons, then a partnership with Russia dissolving due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Programme was conceived in 2001 and planned launch currently 2028.   £650 million was spent on a temporary structure, for a one year event - the millennium dome. Was that project a success? Was the cost justified? Not for the original Why, however in the long run the project significantly benefited the area by kicking off regeneration. Getting the original why question right is crucial.
