  Got #UltimaOnline running on #Linux but whew was it not straight forward. Had to whip out some winetricks voodoo to get it where I needed so Lutris would launch it properly. Now to figure out how best to deal with playing a game from 2003 on a 4k monitor. Edit: UO came out in 1997. Age of Shadows, the version of the client I’m using, came out in 2003

  One thing I can’t figure wrap my head around is the late night eating culture. I want to be done eating by 7 pm. The fact that some restaurants don’t even open until 7:30 just blows my mind. I’d be curious what the full story is there on how the culture developed this way.

  While we're hanging out in the hotel so my wife can work for the day, I took the opportunity to finish up a big big release for the Recommendinator bumping it up to 0.6.0. It doesn't change much from a visual or usage perspective, but I switched it completely from single file html/css/js to using #Vue3 and put an #a11y pass on the entire thing to try and keep it at WCAG 2.1 AA standard.   I’m about 70% through the first book in the #DungeonCrawlerCarl series and it’s legit been an amazing book. It’s one that makes me want to pick up my Kobo and I think about it throughout the day, waiting to get back to it.   My NA #Scotch came today and broooooooo let me tell you, this is good stuff. It’s definitely missing the burn that comes from the alcohol but the flavors are there for sure. I cracked it open and gave it a sniff and it smelled just like a good bottle of Scotch. Will those who drink alcohol love it? Probably not, but when I want a dram, it’s gonna hit the spot. I’m gonna have to check out their other blends. I actually prefer it neat rather than on the rocks
