One thing I can’t figure wrap my head around is the late night eating culture. I want to be done eating by 7 pm. The fact that some restaurants don’t even open until 7:30 just blows my mind. I’d be curious what the full story is there on how the culture developed this way.

I will say, I do enjoy how slow the meal process is. I suffer from housing my food in record speed and it’s forcing me to slow down and enjoy the meal more. Case in point, dinner was over 2 hours tonight and went through about 8 or 9 different plates. It was also the best meal we’ve had in Italy. Perugia is blowing me away

@therealahall In Spain they eat dinner at 10pm! It was wild to see. And yet they wake up for work like normal the next day 😆
