Following up from today's boardroom. I dug into the Stripe docs and found that it _is_ possible for a payment form to split a payment more than once. But being part of the split requires a prior connection. But once that connection is made, the payment form could delegate splits based on something as simple as a URL parameter. For example, a podcast could include the payment page URL in their Funding tag, then PodcastGuru automatically adds "?ref=podcastguru" to the...

One of my biggest workflow changes was moving away from full scripts. I’ve found that outlines give me more energy, fewer awkward retakes, and a more natural connection with my audience. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/how-i-improved-my-podcasting-workflow-in-2025/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap431&utm_content=outlines_more_energy

I think AI is most useful when it reformats my original ideas, not when it replaces them. That’s a big part of how I’m using it now, especially for turning a spoken episode into a cleaner article. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/how-i-improved-my-podcasting-workflow-in-2025/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap431&utm_content=ai_reformats_ideas

My show notes and article workflow now start with what I actually said. Instead of forcing a separate writing process from scratch, I can use the transcript, outline, and some cleanup to turn the episode into something still authentic to me. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/how-i-improved-my-podcasting-workflow-in-2025/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap431&utm_content=transcript_to_article

Here's how to balance your #podcast #SEO, spark curiosity, and maintain clarity when naming podcast episodes that don't fit neatly under one topic. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

A multi-topic episode title doesn't have to name everything. It has to set the right expectation, spark interest, and help your #podcast be found by the right people. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

If an episode covers several unrelated ideas, look for the theme first. A strong umbrella title can make your #podcast feel focused, even when the conversation covers a lot of ground. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

Clever titles can work when they fit the show. But if the clever part hides what the episode is actually about, your #podcast title may be entertaining and still unhelpful. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

When #podcast apps truncate long titles, the words at the beginning matter most. Is one episode title trying to carry too much weight? Multi-topic #podcast episodes usually work better when the title helps the listener decide: Is this worth playing right now? https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

Descriptive isn't always better. Creative isn't always worse. The better question is whether your #podcast title helps the right listener understand why the episode is worth their time. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/5-ways-to-handle-multi-topic-episode-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap432

Again, I want to plead with everyone here that we focus our attention on making features that audiences will want. The more benefits Podcasting 2.0 offers like that, the more developers (of apps and hosting providers) will want to build support for those features. We _must_ keep the audience and their benefit in focus with everything we make!

Episode numbers can help people navigate your back catalog, but they can also make a title harder to scan when the title itself starts with a number. Better formatting protects clarity without giving up the organizational value of your #podcast numbering. https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/3-ways-to-combine-episode-numbers-with-numbers-in-titles/?utm_source=djl_mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tap427&utm_content=social_post_1
