@theDanielJLewis@podcastindex.social the old but still viable voice chat software Ventrilo had the ability to record channels of users chatting, as a single file, or as multiple files, with timestamps, so you could load them in and align them in an editor. i was like, man, this is gunna be so cool! i did it one time, it was such this image that i never did it again
