  Visiting mother in law for a few days who is a fabulous and entertaining character. She's in her 90s, a lifelong #CrystalPalace fan and she has really got into the #WorldCup and stayed up late the other night cheering on #CapeVerde. She proudly told me about the many Crystal Palace players in the world cup playing for various countries. Watching Paraguay v France now with her 😀⚽❤️

  Sigh..just sat down to do a funding application for our #CommunityFridge to discover the charity is now using a portal. In theory.. fine.. saves having to input basic data every time.. but.. it quickly became clear it was US based, the questions to register our organisation were odd and seemed a bit dodgy, do funders really need to know tax references?   How interesting.. a friend has twin daughters who are in their early 30s. One had a load of hassle getting through passport control in Poland because the EU digital ID system clearly doesn't know how to handle identical twins! Immigration was convinced she was not herself but her sister (who had been on holiday recently and already been through the new ID system.) Presumably whichever one goes through the system first becomes the 'default' twin. #Twin #Doppelganger #Digital #ID

  Been procrastinating a bit and doing some speed tidying as a break from a big funding application. I was delighted to rediscover my ancient Scrabble box which was a 9th birthday present many, many moons ago.
