Oh… dear dear dear. Nobody … directed harrasment against this whiney and censorious adult pissbaby. It was spontaneous. db0 themself could have specifically messaged me, telling me something like ‘please remain civil in this trying time’ and i would have replied ‘lol’ and trolled this fucking idiot on his own boards, that he remembered to only secretly shadowban me from, but not actually ban me from… anyway. … is Admiral Patrick Star familiar with the phrase ‘become ungovernable’? Your...

The difference is the young people got their minds obliterated by convenience through apps from a young age… and everyone saying that this would be the new permanent sustainable future, so doing anything the hardway is just stupid. They were presented with all this, the content on demand, the simplified UIs… things that mostly ‘just worked’. They also grew up in a time where there is no reward for perservering through difficulty and confusion. The economy, to a job seeker, is a random casino...

Godot actually has uh… github.com/func-godot/func_godot_plugin Basically… works to both rip and also create Quake, Quake 2, Half Life 1 maps. Its also a pretty extensive framework. Godot VMF… github.com/H2xDev/GodotVMF Can actually rip and convert HL2, TF2, L4D… basically Source up to roughly 2013 maps. I don’t think its much of a map creator/editor though? I think the idea is you just actually make your map in Hammer, and then basically import it into Godot.

Ok, double post, but I may have just answered my own question at the end there: github.com/Zylann/godot_voxel Pro: Seems to actually do what I was trying to do, and then some, holy shit. Con: Apparently, the main version of this is basically a rolling fork of Godot, because it needs so much to be done in c++… and… well, that might mean it runs into the exact problem that spawned this whole conversation: reliably reproduceable builds in different OS contexts.

They can if they code on that physical DVD requires some kind of online DRM check to be passed before it allows the rest of the data on it to be unencrypted. A box you cannot open, with a lock you don’t control… is not very much of a treasure.

The way I see it is basically -> I thought I might need the crook, but it appears I don’t, and thus I’m the idiot standing around with a crook for no reason. So thus it conveys yes, a bit of my own latent foolishness, but it also displays that that is foolishness.

… I would just like to note that Ash Ketchum’s mom canonically keeps a Mr. Mime at home. A Mr. Mime who does ‘household chores’ in exchange for room and board.

Yep, I agree, I don’t think that’s a ‘nude’ pad that happens to have basically the exact same light properties as her skin… Its just a sheer lingerie style bra, with a rather substantial band width. Pretty sure you can actually see her nip, but its obscured by the sheer and the floral pattern somewhat, and she isnt uh, at attention. Something like this: maison-close.us/…/triangle-bra-black-flashback-56… But with a different band design. Sheer/Lingerie style, though the larger band may...

Veteran Halo developer of 17 years accuses the studio of blacklisting, fraud, and "multiple harassment campaigns"
Halo Infinite’s art director and a developer who’s worked on the franchise for 17 years, Glenn Israel, is accusing senior Halo Studios staff of “numerous unethical and/or unlawful acts.” In a series of LinkedIn posts, the long-time Halo developer says he either witnessed or was personally subjected to “blacklisting, fraud, rampant favoritism/cronyism” and “multiple harassment campaigns designed to provoke the constructive discharge of “unwanted” employees otherwise in good standing” between Ja...

Right there with you, I never understood how anyone could be dumb enough to install hardware that had a mind of its own, other than basically as a specimen for an experiment that was carefully and regularly monitored. Like… obviously what is now happening is always what was going to happen. Anywho, because I’m too lazy to click a few times: Alexa, play ‘Where is My Mind?’

Oh hey, no prob! Yeah, the… fragmented-by-design nature of lemmy can be a bit confusing… I don’t even know how many different mobile client apps there are at this point, and many instances have differing layouts for the web browser version.

not a fan of the commenter dickriding their own comment. Well if you don’t know who Faye Mikah is, lets just say there may be a relevant explanation as to why they are so into dickriding.

Yep. And while > 4000% is hyperbolic, a whole lot of normies just refuse to entertain the notion that you’re being serious, not hysterical, that this kind of thing is actually fairly well studied. Its like guys just telling gals ‘its just a period, how bad can it be?’ or gals telling guys ‘its just a flu, how bad can it be?’ Yeah, hard to quantify precisely, along some universal scale… but that is because there is no universal scale, different people experience different levels of measu...
