Does anyone make a consumer uninterruptible power supply that doesn&#39;t completely deplete its expensive ($55 OEM, ~$25 3rd party, in my specific case) lead-acid battery in 18 months regardless of whether it ever actually uses it? Because I&#39;m getting real tired of this cyberpower one. Somehow everything else that uses a lead-acid battery can keep it alive for years with much heavier use so I don&#39;t understand how it&#39;s possible for the UPS to kill it after maybe 3-5...
