@swanson@rubber.social i can't decrypt the sheer extent of how ass it is one time i had an issue where i could read all messages on my PC and phone, but if i sent any from my PC people couldn't decrypt them ones sent from my phone worked fine

@TodePond@mas.to unironically yeah i'd be almost willing to bet that the average jane when presented with a software with flawed and potentially buggy engineering but good design will prefer that to one with solid engineering but "engineer design"
