  What are your views on those big buttons in the hero section of a website that, when clicked, scroll down to the next section of the page? I don’t like them. Scrolling down is the most natural thing that the user does on the web. There is no need to incite the user to scroll. If the user does not scroll, they’re just not interested, and no button can “fix” that. The button is just clutter. I don’t like clutter on web pages. Web pages should be as simple as possible. Zero clutter.

  Check out this weird scrolling behavior on Polymarket’s website: 1. it scrolls the page 2. it scrolls the smaller left column 3. it scrolls the entire page again, but only for a bit 4. it scrolls the main column 5. finally it’s back to scrolling the entire page (the rubberband effect) This is without moving the mouse at all (!!). You just put the mouse cursor somewhere on the page and start scrolling, and it behaves like this. Not ideal. Probably confusing and disorienting for some users.
