Check out this weird scrolling behavior on Polymarket’s website:
1. it scrolls the page
2. it scrolls the smaller left column
3. it scrolls the entire page again, but only for a bit
4. it scrolls the main column
5. finally it’s back to scrolling the entire page (the rubberband effect)
This is without moving the mouse at all (!!). You just put the mouse cursor somewhere on the page and start scrolling, and it behaves like this. Not ideal. Probably confusing and disorienting for some users.

I think it would be better if there were no nested scrollers on the two columns. Just one scroller on the entire page, and that’s it. a.k.a. how the web used to behave, before naive developers started coming up with “creative” solutions to make things “better” It would behave like this:
