But I can recognize that they’re productive endeavors for some folks, when done well

  @uncomfyhalomacro@fosstodon.org I mean, you're not wrong, but whether it was generated by an LLM, or just power-coded in a drunken haze, if you're submitting that code to a larger project, it's *your* circus, and your monkey. That's the biggest problem with most "vibe coded" submissions, the people trying to submit them have *zero* clue how they work.

  @ianthetechie@fosstodon.org "lack of moderation" is a pretty broad brush to paint with, as it's entirely dependent on the homeserver in question. "Lack of moderation *tools* by default" that's a much different statement/question, and as a Moderator on a couple of Matrix homeservers, yeah, the tooling isn't great. If you're running your own homeserver, for personal DM's and bridging, you're probably going to be fine.

  With some hesitation, but in order to help make sure that there's no accusations of "Nobody told Me" if/when things get decided on, I present for consideration a new RFC for #openSUSE We've had a fair bit of struggle internally in the project over the years, given the way things were setup after openSUSE became the community adjunct to SUSE Linux Enterprise So we're talking about governance.
