NO MORE NEW LENSES FOR A WHILE. I have enough.

@buddiesofbudgie 10.10 has arrived in Arch Linux! I know it took a while, but I wanted to make sure there weren't any nasty bugs arising from the new Wayland backend. Update away!

Looks like vkcheck is going to be my first published piece of software that actively supports Windows. Still Linux-first though.

Threw a hail mary today. Let's hope it's caught.

Fun learnings from last night: - The base Flatpak SDK does not include GLFW or the full Vulkan SDK - flatpak-builder does not support SHA-256 Git repositories and can't even clone them - Vulkan-in-Flatpak on my laptop duplicates all physical devices (runtimes 24.08 and 25.08 both tested) - Flatpak has no documented mechanism to handle Meson wrapfiles and it hard-disables automatic downloads

Worth noting that flatpak-builder isn't the only piece of software that I've discovered doesn't support SHA-256 Git repos. Cocogitto doesn't, nor does Zed's Git plugin. I'm starting to think the Git ecosystem isn't particularly ready for Git 3.0.

This was an incredible morning for #serebitBackyard! I got photos of FIVE different bird species, two of which I've never captured on camera while they're at the feeder. First up are the two crested regulars, a gorgeous male Northern Cardinal and a Blue Jay: (1/3) #birds #naturePhotography

The English #Wikipedia article on the Canon EOS series of cameras was painstakingly rewritten by me over the past few months. A few days ago, it was reviewed and accepted as a Good Article (less than 1% of Wikipedia articles have Good Article status). I also submitted some fun facts for the Did You Know section on the Wikipedia homepage, which also got approved! The current version of the article is over 99% my words. Give it a read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EOS

Completed my first V4 bouldering route last night. When I started climbing late last year, I could only do up to V2. #climbing
