Hello everyone, I&#39;m seahorse. I live in Northeast Ohio, USA. Due to all the drama around Twitter I decided to jump on the Mastodon bandwagon, but I didn&#39;t want to just make a Mastodon account, I wanted to host an instance as well, so here I am! Are you active on reddit? Are you tired of the upvote farming and watching new comments/posts never being seen by anyone because they get buried? If so, check out Lemmy (https://join-lemmy.org/). Lemmy is a FOSS, federated link aggregator that uses the ActivityPub protocol. Like Mastodon, anyone can set up a Lemmy instance and federate with other Lemmy instances, as well as Mastodon and Pleroma. I personally run the https://midwest.social instance and it wasn&#39;t too hard to set up.
