Does anyone know what this board and pestle is used for? I suspect it may be used to crush garlic, and perhaps herbs, etc. I got this last century, the packaging disappeared, and I do not remember what it is for. It is no longer made by the manufacturer, Legnoart, in Italy, and Legnoart has not responded to my query. Searches return slop and other irelevant garbage. Looking at excipients/inert ingredients in the cetirizine I was using, found corn starch. After the dentist visit triggered #MCAD , my tolerance to corn products dropped again and did so very drastically. Corn starch does contain very tiny amounts of corn proteins.

The antibiotic, augmentin, according to whatever research has been done, either kills gut bacteria that helps maintain healthy estrogen levels or is an anti-estrogen, which makes hormonal birth control ineffective. They won't say it, but it seems to also adversely affect HRT. That may lead to trouble. And there seems to be little, if any, interest in finding out more about it.
