Looking at excipients/inert ingredients in the cetirizine I was using, found corn starch. After the dentist visit triggered #MCAD , my tolerance to corn products dropped again and did so very drastically. Corn starch does contain very tiny amounts of corn proteins.

I also checked the excipients in the famotidine tablets and found talc. Talc is sometimes contaminated with asbestos. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to separate them and testing for asbestos is neither mandatory nor always done. There are safer substitutes but inertia keeps manufacturers from switching to them. Both products are Target branded, made in India. I have to remember to read labels thoroughly before paying for things. Allergies are no fun. #MCAD and #MCAS are no fun at all. Dodectuple-plus unfun. Or more.
