I woke up yesterday to find I had a message from one bank I use warning me that I was about to go overdrawn. I immediately opened up an app from another bank so that I could make a transfer. It didn’t look like there was going to be a problem until the app told me to find a card reader and go through the process of authorising the transaction. Grrrr. Been a long time since I had to do that. Many hours later, I’ve located a card reader, inserted new batteries, and am all ready to go. I open up...

Really pleased that the high court has ruled that the ban on Palestine Action was unlawful. Without the right to protest, in fact, without support for protest, democracy dies. And in other news, why does my brand new Uk Global Health Insurance Card look like a membership card for Reform?

My CD player has stopped being able to eject the tray. Upon examination a plastic flywheel has simply decayed. Sadly, the player is old enough that no spare parts are available. I hate to throw away a decent piece of kit just because of this. I strikes me that it should be possible to 3D print a new flywheel if the broken part was provided as reference. Is there anybody who provides such a service?
