    I don&amp;#39;t think I&amp;#39;ve posted about this one, but I managed to get a 2007 iMac about a month ago for £20. This only has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and 2GB RAM, but it&amp;#39;s absolutely flying on YouTube duties with 1080p resolution. This can be upgraded to 6GB RAM, which is my next task, and I&amp;#39;m going to use it for era-appropriate Mac gaming. #gaming #retrocomputing #apple #imac

    I finally modded my Atari Lynx screen! Despite recent work and personal challenges, I managed to get some time to undertake something I have wanted to do for years. This modern LCD was relatively inexpensive from AliExpress and was easy to fit, especially if you aren&amp;#39;t a stranger with a soldering iron. The screen looks absolutely wonderful now and I&amp;#39;ll be able to enjoy the quirky library of the Atari Lynx. #gaming #retrogaming #gamer #retrogamer #atari

    I haven&amp;#39;t played the Sega Game Gear in a long time! This little handheld was the first one I repaired with a capacitor change many years ago and led me to fixing (mostly!) my other consoles and computers. I picked up a very cheap Everdrive for this little unit, and now I&amp;#39;ve been bitten by the Game Gear bug again... I&amp;#39;ll have to mod my screen to a new and modern LCD replacement. #gaming #retrogaming #sega

    A couple of weeks ago, I managed to pick up this Twinhead Slimnote 486/DX2 laptop for very cheap but it was untested. The big problem is that it doesn&amp;#39;t have a power supply and the PSU it uses needs a Kycon KPPX-4P connector. All suggestions for a suitable PSU would come in handy! #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing

    Back on my bullshit with a &amp;#39;hopeful&amp;#39; new PC build for @basearcade This is a Compaq Presario 5240 desktop PC. CPU? It&amp;#39;s a 400MHz AMD K6-2 CPU. RAM? Who knows! I have to remove half of the internals to get to it! It doesn&amp;#39;t sound healthy anyway.
