Yesterday I cancelled my Adobe Lightroom subscription. They were very keen to retain my monthly fee so I got all sorts of offers to stick around. I wasn't tempted. For the raw processing of images I have decided to give monthly support to young developer, Timon Kaech, who has been developing RapidRAW for the past 9 months. Thousands of my photo images have been stored for years on Smugmug. Also running recently on a hosted #Immich server after a mega import, via pixelunion.eu. First impressions of Immich are very favourable, fast, easy to use and view. I guess a self hosted Immich is my next step then.

I thought this was an interesting article about Rewilding the Internet. "The internet has become an extractive and fragile monoculture. But we can revitalize it using lessons learned by ecologists."
