@malcircuit I&#39;m sorry to hear that you are struggling to find relevance. If it&#39;s any consolation, I&#39;m a regular old white guy with kids and grandkids and on the cusp of retirement because I have very few fu+$s to give anymore. @CiaraNi@mastodon.green I don't always read the alt text (obviously). I recall one winter in DK, maybe 2021 where the Vejle harbor turned to ice. It's -25 C in the morning here in Ontario and we spent the weekend cross country skiing in -15 C because it does.warm up by midday :-)

@denisedwheeler.bsky.social I am no longer astonished that 40 million is just 4% of a billion. Jeff Bezos has a net worth of about 250 Billion - so 40 million is about 0.016% of his net worth. If you earn 100k per year, that's the equivalent of about 16 dollars, or a couple of Starbucks coffees If that 40 million came out of Bezos' own pocket, it's basically discretionary spending ... so it doesn't matter if the movie stinks. Its an oh-well for him.
