@vwestlife My brother visited Japan at the end of 2024, and he was surprised at all the different vending machines available. He even got a temporary SIM card for his phone from one.

A 3rd-generation Datsun Laurel I spotted today. It was driven by an elderly couple, and the owner said it was a 1979 model. Not in perfect showroom-fresh condition, but still a very good survivor for a 47 year-old car. I do have a bit of a soft spot for old Datsuns, as my grandfather had a 120Y, and you rarely see any around these days.

This popped up in my Facebook memories. 9 years ago, I built a "sleeper" PC in an old case to replace the HP laptop I had at the time. That PC is long gone now, but I still use the IBM Model M keyboard with my daily driver desktop to this day. That keyboard will probably outlast me, lol.

As someone who despises the modern-day obsession people have with huge SUVs and trucks, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I was particularly impressed with how much space Alec had in the 3rd row seat of that Toyota Sienna - I could not fit comfortably in the 3rd row seats of the behemoth Volvo XC90 my family used to have, and I'm tiny ๐Ÿ˜› https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEruzTKteRE

You basically seem to get two types of drivers around here - those that just go straight through red/yellow lights, and those that hang around at green lights for no good reason ๐Ÿฅด

This dude posts the same poorly-written comment on every single video I make. This is YouTube, not OnlyFans - there's a limit to how naughty I can get ๐Ÿ˜„

My internet connection has been borderline unusable for the last couple of days. I contacted the ISP, who remotely tried to reconfigure the router, and now they've borked it completely ๐Ÿซค I have almost no mobile data left, so no internet until these clowns can sort out the fiber connection ๐Ÿ˜ž

After days of having internet that barely worked, and going back and forth with the ISP's tech support, I finally convinced them that the issue was very likely with the router itself, and they came and replaced it. Internet is working perfectly again now. This is the 3rd router this place has had since I've been here. If the provider used a CPE box that converts the fiber line into an Ethernet connection like the one back home does, I could just plug my own router in and be done...

I did not expect to get Rickrolled by a random cassette in a thrift store, but here we are ๐Ÿ˜
